A FAMILY PASSION, FROM PAST TO PRESENT<\/h2>\n

XVII\/XVIII CENTURIES<\/span><\/h4>\n

In the first half of the 17th century, the Sorbatti Family purchased the “terrae vineatae<\/em>” that belonged to the Abbey of Fiastra.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

XIX CENTURY<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

In the XIX century, the competition constituted by American durum wheat was generating a serious crisis in our territory. As opposed to many others, the Family did not dismember its property. To the contrary: they kept it intact and focused strongly on training the new generations. The great-great-grandfather specialised in agriculture and the great-grandfather got a degree in law and later became a notary.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

XX CENTURY<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

The grandmother Cam\u00e0, who became the first female engineer in the region of Le Marche and to whom the wine of the same name is dedicated, founded a engineering company with her husband.<\/p>\n

Their daughter met Antek, a Polish official who had arrived to the region of Le Marche with the Army Corps after the battle of Montecassino. After just a few months, they married. Their children expanded the property by purchasing the surrounding land for an overall extension of 350 hectares.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

YEAR 2000, THE NEW MILLENNIUM <\/span><\/h4>\n

The siblings start to see their land with different eyes. It was no longer just about wheat, but also, and above all, vines.
